Real-World Learning
You’ll learn from experienced nursing professionals who have a wide range of clinical specialties. Our on-campus labs will help you sharpen your technical skills and our state-of-the-art Human Patient Simulation Center will provide you with hands-on experience in patient assessment and care. You will be mentored by faculty during your external clinical rotations in obstetrics and gynecology, maternity, pediatrics, medical-surgical, and mental health. Join the Student Nurses Association to build leadership skills and participate in professional development opportunities.

Progressive Option for Adult Learners (PN to RN to BS)
Monroe’s progressive nursing option for adult learners offers you the chance to transition through three levels of nursing in nine semesters.
RN to BS Option
Monroe’s RN to BS in Nursing program offers registered nurses who graduated from an associate degree or diploma-granting nursing program an opportunity to earn a BS in just eleven months.
Traditional Option for High School Seniors and Recent Graduates
Our traditional Bachelor’s in Nursing program seeks to admit current high school seniors and recent graduates who experienced a rigorous college preparatory curriculum.
LPN to RN Option
If you’re a licensed practical nurse looking to move up in your career, consider Monroe’s LPN to RN program.
Accelerated Second Degree Option
If you already hold a bachelor’s degree and are seeking a career change into nursing, this program will meet all of your needs. Finish the program in just three semesters.
International Medical Graduate (IMG) Option
If you hold the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited non-U.S. medical school, this nursing program is designed just for you. Study evenings, weekends, and online.
