Housing Application Instructions (eRezLife)

Please watch this video to understand how to apply for housing. 

To log into the eRezLife website, please follow these steps:

• Go to MyMonroe.monroecollege.edu.
• Click on the Housing Application Widget, and you will be directed to the eRezLife website.
• You will then be taken to a sign-in screen. Please use your Monroe University email to log in and access the website.
  
  Additionally, ensure that your phone number associated with your account is up to date.

Applying for Housing

• All housing application forms are available under the Housing Tab in Housing Overview.
• Click the "Apply now" button next to the housing option you wish to apply for.

• Once you have clicked "Apply Now," you will be directed to the application form.
• Complete all questions on the application form. Mandatory questions are marked with a red asterisk (*).
• Please note that if you simply wish to save your current data, you may click "save" at any step. If you wish to continue, you can choose "Save and Continue."
• On the Confirm Application page, carefully review your application details.
• Check off the statements listed indicating that you understand and agree to all terms.
• Click "Submit Application," and you will be redirected to a thank-you page,including your receipt of completion number.

Applicants can choose their own roommates called a Roommate Group.  A Roommate Group consists of 2-6 residents of the same sex.  To create a Roommate Group, follow the steps below:  

• All residents in the Roommate Group must complete their individual housing application
• One roommate creates and name the Roommate Group
• That same roommate will click “invite your roommates” by inserting their Monroe University email.  
• The roommates will receive an email and click “accept”. 
• Confirm all roommates have green checkmarks next to their name to ensure they are added to the Roommate Group. 

If you do not have a Roommate Group, you can make an eRezLife Roommate Profile to search for students seeking roommates. 

eRezLife Housing Selection begins August 1st @ 5pm 

On or after August 1st, follow these steps:

• Click on “Housing overview” and then select “Browse rooms”.
• Search for apartments by building. Unavailable or already selected apartments will not appear.
• Click on the “bed” icon to choose your apartment. A detailed window will appear. Click on “choose this bed”.
• Review the details of your selected apartment.
• Click on “Assign me now” to confirm your selection.
• If you want to explore other options, click on “Look at other rooms” to review available choices.
• If you wish to choose a different room and cancel your reservation, click on “Cancel this reservation”.
• Once you have selected your apartment, carefully review all the details.
• Click on “Assign me now” to confirm your selection.
• If you have roommates and want them to be placed nearby, select “Yes, place my roommates nearby right now”.
• To remove yourself from the roommate group and only be assigned individually, click on “No, remove me from the roommate group and only assign me.”
• Make sure to review all the information carefully before making your final selections.

Congrats! You completed your housing selection!
