Covid Regulations
While New York State has relaxed some of its COVID restrictions, we have not done so on campus. Masks are still required in public areas, as are social distancing recommendations.
What do I need to do before move-in day?
We strongly encourage all students to be fully vaccinated before arriving on campus. If you need our help arranging a vaccine appointment, just let us know. We are happy to connect you with a local healthcare provider.
If you (or anyone accompanying you to campus) feel unwell the days before you arrive, it is very important that you reschedule your move-in date. Keeping the campus safe is everyone’s responsibility.
What happens on move-in day?
Staff members will greet you as you pull up to campus. You will be directed to a spot where you will unload your vehicle from a curb space close to your assigned dorm building.
We will have wheelie bins to help you bring everything to your room.
Students will be directed where to go to check-in and pick up their room key.
Once the car is unloaded, someone from Public Safety will tell you where you may park.
Please note: You may not leave the car unattended at any time while unloading. Don’t worry – we will have plenty of staff people on hand during your move-in to provide information.
Other important details:

Will there be an orientation meeting for the parents of new housing students?
Yes. We understand that parents have many questions and we are happy to answer them. Details will be sent to you via email on the date, time, and link to attend. Please be sure to share it with your parent(s) as we have important information to share.
