Security Guard Training

This is a required course by New York State and is the first step in obtaining a security guard registration card from the New York Department of State. The course provides you with a general overview of the duties and responsibilities required of a security guard. Topics covered include the role of the security guard, legal powers and limitations, emergency situations, communications and public relations, access control, and ethics.

You must pass the written exam with a minimum score of 70% in order to be certified.

The eight hour class will be $55.  Payment can be made in our registration portal. 

The virtual eight hour program will be offered in a 2 class schedule.

Dates:  Saturday, March 20 and Saturday, March 27

Class Time:  9 am - 1 PM
